Who we are

croshops.com is run by Marcin Lisewski, with the details above. For anything about your data, email us at the address above.

What we collect, and why

When you visit the site

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics: which page was viewed, where the visit came from, the country, and the device and browser type. It also counts three clicks: the “Book a free call” button, the email link and the PDF downloads, and how many people sign up for new teardowns by email. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. We use these counts to see whether the site does its job. Our host, Vercel, also keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and browser) to run the site and keep it secure.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure site and knowing how it is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you accept analytics cookies

We also use Google Analytics 4, but only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. It records the pages you view, how you reached the site, your approximate location (country and city), your device and browser, and the same three clicks as above. It sets cookies that recognise a returning browser. Google Analytics does not log or store your IP address. We do not use it for advertising, and its advertising features are off.

Until you choose, and if you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and Google receives nothing from this site.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time; see Cookies below.

When you book a call

Bookings go through TidyCal. The “Book a free call” button takes you to TidyCal’s site; nothing from TidyCal loads on our pages. TidyCal collects your name, email, store URL and your main concern. We use these details only to prepare for and hold the call. TidyCal processes them under TidyCal’s privacy policy.

When you sign up for new teardowns

Under our reports and guides you can leave your email address to get the next one before it goes public. We first send one email with a confirmation link; your address is added to the list only after you click it. We store your email address and the date you confirmed, in Resend, our email provider, and use them only to send new reports and guides. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing or writing to hello@croshops.com.

When you email us

We receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them to reply.

Legal basis for bookings and emails: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How long we keep it

Booking details and emails: as long as needed to answer and follow up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together. Email list: until you unsubscribe; unconfirmed sign-ups are not stored. Vercel analytics counts are aggregated and do not identify you. Google Analytics data is deleted after 14 months.

Who else processes it

  • Vercel: hosting and analytics
  • Google: Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies (Google’s privacy policy)
  • TidyCal: call bookings
  • Resend: confirmation emails and the email list for new teardowns (Resend’s privacy policy)
  • Our email provider: the hello@croshops.com mailbox

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Cookies

This site sets cookies only if you accept them in the cookie banner. They are Google Analytics cookies:

  • _ga: tells one browser apart from another; kept 2 years
  • _ga_<ID>: keeps track of the current visit; kept 2 years

Vercel Web Analytics works without cookies. Your choice itself is saved in your browser’s local storage, so the banner does not ask again on every page. If you decline or withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted. TidyCal may set its own cookies once you are on its site; you manage those there.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, a correction, deletion, a copy in a portable format, or a restriction of its use, and you can object to its use. Write to hello@croshops.com; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
